Care Plans and Hosting

Ongoing maintenance, monitoring and help from people who understand how your site was built.

A care plan keeps routine technical work from becoming an emergency. We handle updates and monitoring, keep recoverable backups, and provide a clear route for changes.

The approach

Routine maintenance with a named technical team

A care plan covers the recurring work that keeps a website dependable: updates, off-site backups, monitoring and a defined support response. Higher-support scopes can add more frequent checks, performance and broken-link reporting, a staging site and included small changes.

Plans run month to month with written notice for cancellation. The agreement states what counts as a small change, the response window and which third-party costs remain separate, so maintenance does not turn into an undefined retainer.

Ways we can help

Common project scopes

Your proposal is tailored to the required outcome. These are useful starting points for the scoping conversation.

01

Essential maintenance

Scheduled software updates, recoverable off-site backups and uptime alerts for a stable brochure or company website.

02

Managed website care

More frequent maintenance, security and performance checks, reporting and a small allowance for routine content changes.

03

Priority support

Faster response, staging for safer testing, broader health reporting and a larger allowance for planned site changes.

Questions

What clients usually ask

If your situation is different, send us the context and we will tell you whether this service is the right route.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Often, yes. We first audit the hosting, code, plugins, access and backup state. Existing faults or overdue upgrades may need a separate stabilisation scope before a care plan starts.

What counts as a small change?

Typical examples are replacing supplied text or images and making a minor adjustment within an existing layout. New pages, features, integrations and redesigns are scoped separately before work begins.

Are backups stored away from the website?

The care-plan scope includes off-site backups on an agreed schedule. The exact retention and recovery process is documented for the selected plan and hosting setup.

Does a care plan include hosting?

Managed hosting is included in some scopes and can be added to others. We confirm the hosting owner, renewal responsibility, SSL and access arrangements in writing.
